It has been a while since I was last here, and while I've been away a lot has changed in my life and in my overall being. Lots. Been through dark times that tested everything I had, been through joyous moments, through tough lessons that I had to learn and am still learning to apply–growth and rebirth–that's the theme of my new song.

I'll be utterly frank: I went away because of the “spam” I was getting, a vibe I wasn't liking. At first being on this site was like fully enjoying one enlightened, heavenly heartbeat after another. Then it started to get far too commercial and… bleh for me. I begun to suspect things that perhaps had nothing wrong with them. Guess the Shadow Self gets us all, eventually, right?

Well, I'm still as anti-establishment and anti-commercial and anti-consumerist and anti-everything-that-rots-this-world as before. Yeah, I'm a hippie at heart and was probably born 40 years too late. Or not. If we can bring the Heavens to Earth, or make of Earth an idealyc Eden, then why not bring the 60s forward in time to the present. Not all of it. But the good things, infused with the new things. Mainly, I–we–need the revolutionary spirit that changed American culture.

Am I rambling? Let's finish up quick:

I'm sadly not as religious or faith-full as I was before. I question a lot more and I side with science a whole lot more. But I am a witch at heart, and an anthropologist always. So there is no way that I will look down on my past spiritual experiences or attempt to dismiss them. They're part of me, who I am. I'm in my last year of college (BA degree) and I am narrowing and focusing my ambitions for gradschool and whatever comes after that–a career, I guess. Shall I change the world? Gods, not I! WE will. I can do so very little on my own, but we together can do anything and all.
